Strong to severe thunderstorms are developing across the area this afternoon. Temperatures have spiked into the 90′s and 100′s, and those extreme temperatures will lead to possible downburst damaging winds.
Quarter hail will be rather common with the strongest storms; however, we don’t expect the extreme damaging hail we saw on Sunday. The wind shear isn’t as strong to support those types of stones.

Any tornados?
Not worried about tornadoes today. Mostly a wind threat this evening.
