More isolated thunderstorms are starting to pop up across the area this evening. These storms are moving pretty slowly to the south and west. Currently, the storm in northern Johnson county is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:45 pm.
We’ll continue to have storms develop for the rest of the day and some could reach severe limits with gusty winds as the main concern, especially for decaying storms. Most of the activity should dwindle by sunset.
