Our warm pattern is still the main story for the next few days. Both Fayetteville and Fort Smith tied record highs today of 98 and 102 respectively. Highs will remain in the upper 90s and triple digits as ridge of high pressure will remain situated right over the central United States.
But, by Monday the ridge will begin to break down which means cooler temperatures for us. Temperatures will return back to average and an approaching cold front will also give us some rain chances.
We’ll start to have the chance for some pop up showers by Saturday and Sunday and our best chance for rain will be on Monday and Tuesday.
