We are tracking some isolated thunderstorms developing mostly south of I-40. These are slowly moving to the northwest and could produce heavy downpours and a few rumbles of thunder. Currently, none of these storms are severe. We will continue to have a chance for isolated thunderstorms across the area this evening.
Overnight, we’ll have another chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms especially in Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. If storms do push in our region overnight some of that activity could linger around Sunday morning. Tomorrow afternoon the heating of the day combined with our abundance of moisture could trigger additional isolated showers.
