Scattered showers and storms will continue to weaken over the next several hours. No severe weather is expected; however, please use caution around Polk county with some localized flooding being reported.
These storms are in association with a circulation known as a MCV, or a mesoscale convective vorticy. The circulation was leftover from this morning’s complex of storms. MCV’s are hard to forecast and can drift aimlessly for days.
Highs on Saturday will climb into the upper 80′s and lower 90′s with a slight chance for a shower or storm during peak heating.

will it rain on sat or sun or just be hot
We could see some isolated showers this evening and overnight. But it’s looking like Sunday will be dry for the most part.
