There is a lot of uncertainty with the forecast starting next Monday, but it should be a very active period. 2 out of our most trusted 3 computer models are showing a cold front moving through the area on Monday. Depending on the timing of the cold front, strong to severe thunderstorms are a possibility. Tuesday will be much cooler but a second storm system could move in on Wednesday. This storm has caught our attention because some of the computer models keep the track across the south. The track could begin in Arizona before moving into Texas and southern Arkansas. Assuming the cold air is firmly in place, this could be a winter weather maker. There are a lot of unknowns…infact the 3rd computer model only has one storm system moving in during that time and it is more of a rain maker. The forecast for next week will change, but the weather pattern is more active and March might just start out like a Lion.
