Severe Weather Awareness Week

This week is severe weather awareness week for both Oklahoma and Arkansas. As a result, the state wide tornado drill will be tomorrow between 11am and noon. Most, but not all cities participate in the drill. It is also a good time to review your severe weather plan with your family before severe weather season begins.

If you want to learn more about severe weather, you can attend a free storm observing class held by the National Weather Service. These classes are about 3 hours long and very informative for storm chasers and weather enthusiasts alike. Here is a list of more severe weather classes at the link below.
